JAA – José Adrião Arquitetos will be taking part in the conference “E Depois da FORMA”, organized by the Roca Lisbon Gallery, on July 1st at 6:00 PM.

This session, which marks the conclusion of the conversation series, will spotlight our project Casa Melides, winner of the Habitação Unifamiliar category at the Prémios FORMA 2024.

The terrain is located in the center of Sintra. The pre-existing house was preserved and extended with a new construction.

The intervention aimed to transform the building, originally consisting of one apartment per floor, into a single-family residence.

Fanqueiros project was referenced in Docomomo Journal, issue 55, on the subjet “Modern Lisbon”. Catarina Wall Gago’s essay, disserts about “Recent Renovations in Lisbon’s Baixa Pombalina” , and mentions this project as an example.

Today, as part of Público newspaper, the 7th volume of the book collection “A Casa de Quem faz as Casas”, dedicate to José Adrião’s house Casa dos Prazeres is released. The book features photographs by Inês D’Orey and texts by Maria Milano and Roberto Cremascoli.
