On 30 June, JAA presented to Lisbon City Council the winning proposal for the rehabilitation of Torreão Poente in Terreiro do Paço.
The intervention focuses on the structural consolidation of the building, the preservation of its original construction elements, and the enhancement of its material identity, opening up new possibilities of use for this building in Lisbon’s Baixa Pombalina and riverfront.
The meeting was attended by the Vice-President of Lisbon City Council, Gonçalo Reis, and Councillors Vasco Moreira Rato, responsible for Urban Planning, Housing and Municipal Buildings, and Diogo Moura, responsible for Culture, Economy and Tourism, Relations with Parish Councils, and Toponymy.
