OCREZA
Barca da Amieira no Tejo, Vale do Ocreza, Barragem da Pracana and Zimbreira are four places located along the 7,5 km intervention area approximately 2,5 km apart. Each place defines a special nucleus with its different specifications of cultural and scenic heritage.
A pedestrian route along the riverbanks was the starting point of this proposal and the unifying element of the project.
While walking through this land the observer enjoys of a real time that enables one to interpret the natural and cultural processes of the construction of this landscape. This time also enables a gradual comprehension of the reason and origins of the Ocreza River’s engravings and well as the name of all things.
A contemporary “reading” of a landscape, that contains all periods of time.
